Diane Lucas has written a number of acclaimed children’s books and is involved in the Northern Territory literary scene. Drawing on her many experiences there is particular focus on environmental and educational themes throughout Diane’s books.

DIANE LUCAS

Learn more about the Northern Territory writer who spends much of her time travelling and learning new things in the bush. Her work life has been varied and interesting, mostly in Educational, Environmental, Ethno-ecological and Arts projects.

‘We live in vast natural landscapes, and can drive for days where no people reside but where plants, animals, birds, insects, hills and rocks live. We sleep under a sky full of stars and embrace the wild storms and cyclones that come upon us at times.’ Diane Lucas
